Talking About Writing

Yesterday we were very excited to get a comment on our blog from a published author and poet, Judi Billcliff!

We were so excited we wrote straight back and read some of her poems and we have started a conversation.  Today she wrote a new post on her blog and included a poem about Room 4!

Now we are all inspired to read and write poetry.  Thanks Judi, we can't wait to share our poetry with you!

Monsters of the Deep, by Marshal

Marshal has written a powerful description of a Fangtooth. He has worked hard to include emotive vocabulary that paints a picture in the reader's head.

Stargazer Fish, By Azure

Last week we each choose a sea creature and wrote a description of it.  We were focusing on choosing powerful language to create a picture in the reader's head.   Azuredream has carefully chosen the words he has used in his description to create a very creepy picture of a stargazer fish.
