RAINBLUE AND THE SEVEN GIRLS By Amelia

Once upon a time, a long time ago, there lived a king, a queen and a little cute baby called Rainblue. They lived in a beautiful castle. The castle was as big as the sky tower. The queen had died so he married again. The new queen was evil and mean. The queen hated Rainblue because Rainblue was so beautiful. She was as beautiful as a princess.

The queen was so jealous that she got her slaves to take Rainblue up to the mountains. Rainblue ran away. She found a cave with seven socks, seven tables, seven beds, seven plates and seven cups in it. Rainblue decided to clean up the little cave. So she got the mop and mopped the floor. When she was finished she was very tired and she went to sleep on the bed. But one bed was too short so she found one that was the perfect size. She fell into a deep sleep.

The seven girls came home from their work. They saw the cave and there was someone in it. The first girl ran inside and said, “Why is there water in my cup?” The girls came quietly inside and they saw the most beautiful girl in the world asleep on the bed. The second girl said, “Why is she asleep on my bed?” The third girl said,” Don’t worry. Come sleep in my bed.”

They girls started to really like Rainblue. They asked her to stay with them. The queen found out that Rainblue was still alive. She decided to trick Rainblue by feeding her a poisonous berry.  She talked to her magic mirror and said “Mirror, Mirror on the wall. Tell me who is the prettiest girl of all.” The mirror answered that it was Rainblue who lived in the mountains with the seen girls. The queen changed into being an old woman and then went up into the mountains.

She knocked on the door of the cave. Rainblue said, “Who is there?”  “Just open the door,” said the old lady. So Rainblue opened the door. “Here! Take a bite of this berry.” So Rainblue did. She fell to the ground and fell into a deep sleep.

When the seven girls came back from work they found Rainblue lying down so they took her to the doctor. The doctor gave her some medicine and she came back to life. When she was leaving the hospital she saw a prince. The prince fell in love with her so they got married and lived happily ever after.

The house was small, but rather nice too. In the house it was tidy. Siale was getting poorer and poorer because he had lost his job.
