THE PRINCESS AND THE FISH By Trent

Once upon a time there was a princess. She was beautiful. One day she was playing with her crown but she dropped her crown in the water. She started crying and a fish said to her, “Why are you crying?” The princess said, “I dropped my crown in the water.” “Don’t cry,” said the fish. “It’s all right, I will get your crown for you if you marry me.” The princess said yes and the fish got the crown.

After ten years, the princess fell in love with the fish because the fish could find things in the sea like the money and jewelry.

The princess kissed the fish and he turned into a man. She was happy and they got married again and lived happily ever after.

Trent, I have loved reading your story about the Princess and the Frog. It has a beautiful ending. You kept me reading right till the end to see what happened. You are a wonderful story-teller. From Ms Hansell
