THE BIG-BLUE HOODIE BOY By Mairangi

Once upon a time, a long time ago, there lived a boy who lived in a small cottage. In his family there were two boys – Jovan and James, and a girl – Paris. Also, there was his mum and dad. They had been married for 40 years.

When Trent was walking to his Grandma’s house to give some oranges to her, he met a wolf. The wolf wanted the oranges so he could make some orange and apple juice but Trent said no. When Trent got to his Grandma’s house he saw the wolf dressed up as Grandma. The wolf had tied up Grandma and put her in the cupboard. The wolf’s teeth were sharp, with blood dropping from his teeth.

Then the wolf jumped out and tried to take the oranges. The oranges were as bright as the sun. Then Trent got his knife and tried to cut the wolf, but the wolf was too fast. So he got a chainsaw and then the wolf was scared and gave the oranges back. Then Trent put the chainsaw back where it was.

Once he had put the chainsaw back where it was he saw his Grandma. He said, “Here’s your oranges, Grandma.” Then Trent said, “Who tied you up?” The Grandma said “That silly old wolf!”  Trent said “The wolf is scared of me because I got the chainsaw and I was going to cut him.” Then Trent and his grandma made some orange juice together. The juice was as juicy as the green grass. They all lived happily ever after.
