Statistical Investigation - Jacob's Group

In term four, Room 4 were learning about question-based statistical investigations. Our group focused on answering the question "What clubs would Room 4 like in 2013?" This movie shows our process! Enjoy!

The Big Bad Wolf by Jacob

Once there lived three kids. Their house was like a rich house and the kids names  were Jay Jay, Tloti and Jovan. One day they were looking at the fire and they could see people in the fire. Suddenly  the floor turned into a forest and they saw three pigs. They ran after them. Jovan the little boy looked sad so Tloti said, "come  on".  They came to the pig’s house. All  of the  kids went in one house to tell the pigs that the big bad wolf was coming. The wolf  was sad because he didn't get to eat the pig’s.  The pigs thanked the kids for saving them from the bad wolf.  "Your house is behind that bush", they told the kids. They found their house and went home and lived happy ever after.

Helping Bob in the garden 16.10.12

On Tuesday Jacob, Fa'amanu and Paige enjoyed helping Bob in the garden at school. They planted broccoli, lettuce and cauliflower. They watered plants and pulled up weeds. They got weeds from under the rocks and put it in the compost pile. Their favourite part was the planting!

THE DOG AND THE CAR By Jacob

Once upon a time a long time ago there was a poor man. He only had a dog. They had no TV!! No TV, no beds and no food. They lived in a big box on a playground. The playground was as big as an elephant. The dog had black fur.

The man said to the dog, “I will get some money and some food.” He went walking around to find something. The dog went for a walk and he found a cat. The cat said, “I can lead you to the King’s house to get some money. Then you can be rich.” The cat took the dog to the Kings house.

The dog went into the King’s house. He found the room with the King’s money and he took is and opened a secret door. Inside the door he found money, cars and lots more. When the dog was going to leave he saw the King. The King said, “I have lost my crown. Could you find my crown?” The dog said, “Okay.” The dog went looking for the crown and found it.

When he took it back to the King, the King said, “What would you like?” The dog said, “I want to live in this house with you.” The King agreed and the dog went and got the man and took him to the King’s house to live. The man said, “Wow! The house is as big as a school!” They all lived happily ever after.
