Making china dolls with Room 9!

This week we learned how to make china dolls. We were so lucky because Miss Elliott invited all the girls from our class to come and help Room 9 with their dolls. We even got to make our own dolls!

Thank you Miss Elliott - we feel very special to have been chosen to help your class!

CINDERELLA By Paris

Once upon a time, a long time ago, there lived a girl called Cinderella. She was as beautiful as a princess because she tied her hair up and wore beautiful dresses. Her house was as big as a castle. Then she met her two stepsisters and her stepmother. Cinderella said “Hello!” and her two stepsisters said hello back to her.

Then one day a witch came along and kidnapped Cinderella. “Help! Help!” said Cinderella. But no one could hear her. So the witch took her to a spooky old castle full of bats. Cinderella started screaming. When the witch went to clean the dishes, Cinderella escaped.

She went back to her house and found out that her stepsisters had gone to a ball. Cinderella tried to go to the ball but she couldn’t because she had nothing to wear, just a dirty dress. Then her aunty, the fairy godmother turned up at her house.  She waved her magic wand and Cinderella turned into a beautiful princess with gorgeous clothes, the colour of the sky. Cinderella went to the ball and she saw her stepsisters but they didn’t recognise her. Then she met the prince.  He fell in love with her because she was so stunningly beautiful.

Suddenly the clock struck midnight and Cinderella turned back into a dirty girl.  The prince was upset because he didn’t know that she was really just a normal girl. He was so angry that he married one of the sisters and Cinderella was upset.

When Cinderella went home she started packing up her stuff and she moved to another castle full of vampires. She was happy there because she never had to see her sisters again. And they all lived happily ever after.
