Investigation: Why does salt stop dissolving in water ?
Today we were learning how solids can turn into liquids and liquids can turn into gases. We chose to dissolve our solid (salt) into water. After some time we noticed that salt stops dissolving. We all tried hard and gave a good stir till we gave up. We researched and found out that salt will keep dissolving till there is space between the water molecules. When no spaces are left, salt stops dissolving.

All sorts of solids
We researched about different sorts of solids. Some solids are hard where as some are soft. Some can absorb water and some cannot. solids can be metallic, plastic rubber or wooden. This activity has taught us how solids are different. Rebecca and Alo
