The Crayon Box That Talked: tolerance and cultural diversity
We acted out the poem, "THE CRAYON BOX THAT TALKED" By Shane DeRolf. Tolerance and Cultural Diversity are something that we, as a school, value most importantly. This relates to children building and developing positive cultural identity and recognising and appreciating many different cultures in our community.
An important stanza from this poem: “We are a box of crayons, each one of us unique. But when we get together, the picture is more complete”
